Paige Hareb hails from Ōakura, New Zealand, and made history in December 2008 as the first New Zealand woman to qualify for the ASP Women’s World Tour. Over her career, Paige has achieved notable milestones, including an 8th place finish on the 2009 ASP Women’s World Tour, earning her Taranaki Sportsperson of the Year that same year. She captured the 2022 National Surfing Championships Open Women’s title, and earlier in 2022, revealed her competitive prowess by winning the Nias Pro QS 5000 event, cementing her status as the top-ranked women’s Qualifying Series surfer in Australasia. In 2018, Paige also enjoyed a standout performance at the ISA World Surfing Games, earning a silver medal and helping New Zealand to a top‑10 finish overall.
