Dawn patrol in a bottle. Mango Sunrise is a Sticky Johnson Deluxe surf wax fragrance: bright mango for the 5 am drive to check the bank, and the drive home with the heater on full.
It's our refillable car air freshener. It's made in New Zealand with NZ sheep's wool, which soaks up the fragrance oil and gives it off over time, so when the scent fades you just top it up. No buying a new one every time.
In the box
- 1 refillable NZ wool air freshener on an elastic hanger
- 1 × 10 ml vial of Mango Sunrise fragrance oil
Setting it up
- Slide the bottle nozzle into the open channel on top of the freshener.
- Go 5 ml (half the vial) if you like it subtle, or the full 10 ml if you want the whole car to know.
- Hang it and forget it. Scent fading? Top it up.
Refills
Each 10 ml refill vial does two mellow top-ups or one big one, and costs less than half the price of a new freshener. Mango Sunrise refills sit right next to the other three scents if you fancy a change.
Where it goes
Mirror, headrest post, van hook or wetsuit bag. Anywhere it can swing free without blocking your view.
Look after it
Top up outside the car or over a sink. The oil can stain or damage dashboards, paint and upholstery, so wipe drips straight away, and keep it out of reach of kids.

It's NZ sheep's wool, and wool soaks up the fragrance oil and gives it off over time. That's what lets you keep topping up the same freshener instead of binning it.
