Smells like the week you stayed one more day. Tropical Coconut is a Sticky Johnson Deluxe surf wax fragrance: sweet, beachy coconut for a car that's had too many wet wetsuits in it.
This is our refillable car air freshener. It's made in New Zealand with NZ sheep's wool, which soaks up the fragrance oil and gives it off over time. When the scent fades, you top it up instead of binning it.
What you get
- 1 refillable NZ wool air freshener on an elastic hanger
- 1 × 10 ml vial of Tropical Coconut fragrance oil
How to use it
- Pop the bottle nozzle into the open channel on top of the freshener.
- Add 5 ml (half the vial) for a mellow scent, or the full 10 ml for a big hit.
- Hang it up. When the scent fades, top it up again.
What a refill costs
A 10 ml refill vial gives you two mellow top-ups (or one big one) and costs less than half the price of a new freshener. Same hanger, fresh scent. Refills come in all four scents, so you can switch it up once the old one has faded.
Where to hang it
Rear-view mirror, headrest post, the hook in the van, or your wetsuit bag. Just make sure it isn't blocking your view.
Care
Top it up outside the car or over a sink. Fragrance oil can stain or damage dashboards, paint and upholstery, so wipe up any spills straight away. Keep the oil away from kids.
